Eraser

Painting of the eraser on the end of a pencil

Mural. Acrylic on block wall. 2m x 2m

People make mistakes, that's why pencils have erasers. This piece is about forgiveness, letting go. Don't keep beating yourself up for something stupid you did once. And don't slap a permanent label on someone else for something they once did, they may have been going through some shit at the time.

I'm playing with a style that is more wild, more sketchy, more painterly than my previous pieces. I am currently seeking commissions so in order to attract clients I am showing off a wider range of styles. I will continue to make my usual work that flirts with the taboo and the curious, but alongside a second stream of work that is less challenging.

This is located on Lucky Lane in Bedminster.
